1. In a garden, there are 10 rows and 12 columns of trees. The distance between any two trees is 2 m and a distance of 1m is left from all sides of the boundary of the garden. What is the length of the garden?

  • A. 20 m
  • B. 20 m
  • C. 20 m
  • D. 20 m

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

11 × 2 = 22 m, 1 m is left from the upper and lower side.
So length of the garden = 22 - 2 = 20m
No, of now is less than no of column, so length of column is the length of the garden.
