1. A sells an article which costs him Tk. 400 to B at a profit of 20%. B then sells it to C, making a profit of 10% on the price he paid to A. How much does C pay to B?
- A. Tk. 472
- B. Tk. 472
- C. Tk. 472
- D. Tk. 472
Answer: Option C
Explanation:
At 20% profit A sold the article to B at (400+ 400*20/100)= 480 tk.
At 10% profit B then sold it to C at (480+ 480*10/100)=528 tk
so, C pays tk 528 to B.
