1. Aunik, Kamal and Jamal invested TK. 8000, TK. 4000 and TK. 8000 respectively in a business . Aunik left after six months. If after eight months, there was a gain of TK. 4005, then what will be the share of Kamal?

  • A. TK. 890
  • B. TK. 890
  • C. TK. 890
  • D. TK. 890

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

Aunik's share=8000×6=48000 [as he left after 6 months]
Kamal's share=4000×8=32000
Jamal's share=8000×8=64000

Ratio = 48000 : 32000 : 64000
           = 48 : 32 : 64
           = 3 : 2 : 4

Total = 3+2+4 = 9
Total profit = 4005

∴ Kamal's profit = (2÷9) X 4005 = Tk. 890 (Ans:)
